Tattoo Fern

This is what it looks like when you put the fern frond against your skin and then slap it.

It looks like everyone is having a great time, this fern frond thing is pretty cool. With the Mayan people being the indigenous people for the area for so many years before the European colonization in the 16th century, how much of their culture is still present in modern day society?

Ms. Wernersbach encouraged her students to make comments and ask questions about the trip and Belize. I haven’t been able to see any posts from my classmates, is this the right area do so?

We are still learning about how much of the Mayan culture is still present and might need to add to our answer tomorrow.

We learned from our fellow Belizean teachers that Standard 4, which are students ages 10-11 years old, studies the Mayan Culture.

This is absolutely the right place to past questions! Keep them coming!
